Hi, I am 54 years old and have been driving a London Cab for 6 years.
When I began the Knowledge in 2009 I was reasonably fit and exercised regularly. Since then I have gained 4 stone in weight and have early stage arthritis in my knees. My GP has told me that if I don’t shift the weight then I will have to have replacement knees in the future.
Since driving a Cab I have also been diagnosed with asthma. All in all this profession can be unhealthy if you don’t look after yourself.
I have a gorgeous wife and 2 young sons aged 10 and 5. Together with my 4 grown-up daughters and 7 grandchildren I have a lot to live for!
We all know that a sedentary lifestyle and too much weight, together with the stress of London traffic, is a recipe for disaster.
When Rosh came up with the Kilimanjaro Challenge for such a good cause I jumped at the opportunity.
I am really looking forward to starting the B.M F. fitness program in order to get down to a healthy weight and be a fitter Dad and Grandad.
All the best,
John
